Davit Cranes

The Davit Crane is designed for simple and maintenance free operation. The lifting davits can have fixed or adjustable booms, which consist of an angled beam which pivots over a vertical axis. Davit cranes are easy to set up and dismantle making it ideal to then transport and operate between multiple service sites. By fixing independent bases (in-ground sockets, surface mounted sockets or wall mounted sockets) where needed around your work site, the davit crane is then easy to transport, allowing you to operate it between multiple work stations. One single portable davit crane is standard, but TLS can design and manufacture bespoke solutions to meet your individual requirements.

The davit cranes robust and weather resistant construction makes it ideal for use in water industry operations for small pump and equipment handling. But the davit crane can be adapted for use in a wide variety of applications including pallet stacking, tool changing, machine loading and maintenance operations. Davit cranes also feature the Quick Disconnect Cable which lets you remove the cable from the crane leaving it hooked to the load. This is especially useful when handling submerged pumps, where disconnecting and reconnecting the cable would be difficult or impossible without taking the pump out of service.

Portable Davit Crane

The cost effective portable davit crane is available in a range of sizes and lifting capacities, all our davit cranes have both hand winch and power options. Any crane supplied by TLS to sites within the UK is covered by hoist testing and certification to comply with current LOLER legislation.
